Underslung/Undermount Sink

Undermount Basin

Undermount sinks have a polished edge and cost more due to the additional work involved.

Drop-in Basin

Drop in sinks sit on top of the bench, it is ‘dropped in’ so edge details are covered by the sink, so less polising is required.

Semi Recess Basin

A semi recess basin is popular in bathrooms, a cabinet maker allows for the sink cut out for the sink to be nestle and the stone needs to fit perfectly around the sink.

Vessel Mount Basin

Vessel mounted bowls sit on top of stone, all is needed for this is a drill hole for the plumbing and create a modern clean finish.

Benchtop Overhang

An overhang is where there is no support, commonly used around breakfast bars in island benchtops. The maximum overhang allowed for is 300mm. Anything more will void the warranty of the stone unless a support is installed

Extended Overhang

Overhangs under 300mm do not need support.

Extended Overhang w/ Support

This island has an overhang that exceeds the warranty provided by stone suppliers, therefore a steel support leg/frame has been installed.
